Supposed to run 4 today but I had choir at the school this morning and I want to rest my foot anyway. I think the chacos are helping but I still feel it.

Made a reservation @ Gun Barrel restaurant in St. George for post race dinner! That place is SO yummy! I can't wait.

Gun Barrel? What kind of restaurant is that? I may have to copy you! We are always looking for good, new places to eat.

Ohh, it looks really yummy!!! I'll have to hit it up when we are without kids, in order to really enjoy it! I think my husband would think he'd died and gone to heaven!!

ya we've been there with couples a few times but not with kids. I agree.

rest is good this week...

post-race dinner is one of my favorite things about racing. this year i had an entire veggie pizza from pier 49. i kid not. james ordered one too. 14 inches for both of us. zero to-go boxes. the manager was appalled and thought we were starving children.

anywaaaay...GO STACIE!

The food sounds so good!!!!

I think your foot sounds like PF, so just ice it and roll it and wear shoes and you will be ok!!! All is well.

Hope to see you some time this Friday or Saturday. Are you SO excited???

Thanks you guys. I'm more nervous and excited for my husband I think. It's his first and he's been waiting for this day for a LONG time. He's SO nervous about it. I don't know what to expect for myself this time...I'm wondering if I should try and stay with the 4 hr pacer and hope for a PR even though I said I was just running this for fun:) My training for this marathon was different than Ogden. I didn't do the speed work but I put in more mileage than I ever have so...I don't know what to hope for or expect. I guess we'll see. I'm a little less nervous having done a training run on most of the course in April but I'm sure it'll all look and feel completely different on race day. I'm really excited to run this marathon. It'll be my biggest yet. I've heard so many great things about it. Anyway...I'm also excited to go get some alone time with my husband on the 16th anniversary of our engagement!!! Fun!

HEY, that sounds fun! A nice marathon get away!

I would totally go with the 4 hour pacer. The pacers there are great. They are entertaining and will keep you going. GO FOR IT!!!!!

Tell your husband GOOD LUCK and to have fun and enjoy the great scenery.
