Woke up @ 6:10 and did Bryan Kest Power Yoga for 52 minutes. Feels so good!

Ran 3 miles by myself cause Lysa had a headache. I love this cool, fallish weather. Wore short sleeves and shorts but warmed up real fast.

Started feeling really nervous yesterday about the marathon. Trying to take Allie's advice and keep my nerves in check. Need to stay loose and calm and happy!:) Have great day!!!

Good job speedy!!

Great speeds today!

I was reading in Runners World some quote about having the "hay in the barn" at this point, now you just need to stack it right. You are ready, do not stress, take this week easy, ALL WILL BE WELL!!!

Are you guys getting Pizza??? We should meet there, I know that is where I want to go again. It was so good. Of course, this is not my marathon so I will have to let Wendy decide what we eat, I guess. I do think I have her convinced that Pizza and Ice Cream is the pre-marathon dinner of champions!

Thanks guys!

Kelli, I don't know what we're doing for dinner. What do you want to do Lys?

Kelli and Allie! Have you ever done the pasta dinner at the expo before?

We've never done this. Don't know what to do. We are staying in a hotel up there Friday night. I'm up for whatever.

From Lysa on Tue, Sep 14, 2010 at 15:48:21 from 174.52.25.64

I would rather do the pizza thing then go to the expo. I just have a feeling the food won't be as good. Plus I don't really want the chaos of that. I would rather relax and enjoy. So lets do it! Meet for pizza, you have to tell us when and where.

i have never done the pasta dinner, but that is because i hate expos. they stress me out and make me nervous for the race, so i like to get in, get my stuff, and get out ASAP. however, i have heard that this particular pasta dinner is one of the best out there. i guess it depends on what you are looking for - a more laid back evening with close friends or a more social evening with the chance to meet a lot of the other runners. my plan: eating bananas in my hotel room while doing crossword puzzles -- the usual pre-race relaxation technique for me :)

From Kelli on Tue, Sep 14, 2010 at 22:04:39 from 71.219.102.155

How many bananas do you eat??? We should all copy you and see how we do in the race. But I am not very good at crosswords, can I do Sudoku puzzles instead???

I have actually heard it is a pretty darn good dinner, but I am not a pasta eater. Pizza all the way!!! OH, and lots of ice cream. Good thing I am not lactose intolerant!
