8 easy, slow miles. Legs still tired. 5:55am and cold again. Just me, some falling snow and  singing birds.  I wore my new Brooks thermal running pants I got at Wasatch on clearance. Glad to finally have warm pants to run in. No more freezing butt! Going to trade my Mizuno's for a pair of Brooks Launch @ shoe store today.

Carried 8 40lb bags of salt from the car to the basement and poured in softener container.

Left @ 6am. Was going to do speedwork/yasso 800's but there was too much wind. With some hills, the wind, snow flurries in my face, and soreness from yesterday's x training, just tried to push through it all and run fast. Love the Brooks Launch. Least expensive shoe I've bought. It's a lightweight shoe and it felt great to run in. I love the color. BLUE!

Left @ 6:30am and met Jill and Deb. Ran lots of hills. Guess it's good for me. Would someday like to run the JRP where it's nice and flat. Jeff would do that with me but not these ladies I don't think.

Chocolate milk and now a nice hot shower! Thinking of those running the 50 miler today. So amazing to me. Hope they're doing well. Excited to read race reports.
