find each others light

Ran in Island Park this morning! Nice and cool. 5:30am.

Floated down the river on a raft. Saw a moose standing in the water. Josie was hanging over the raft with her hat in the water and she dropped it. I jumped in the freezing cold water to get it but couldn't. She keeps talking about how we lost her hat on the river. 

Walked at least 4 miles. We went on a 3.5 mile hike/walk around Old Faithful. We left at 5:30am to go to Yellowstone. One of the first things we saw was a Mom Elk and her baby. The Baby crossed the street and couldn't find her Mom. She was making the cutest crying sounds that were really loud. I got it on camera. Her Mom was answering back. We saw a 2 big male elk later. We saw lots of geysers and buffalo and some of our party saw a black bear and a grizzly bear on the way out. We missed that:( We sawa moose too.

8 in early morning in Island Park again. Bill's Island. Beautiful place!

Fun on lake with a boat today!

Last run in Island Park. It rained before and after my run. Not during. On the way out I saw a moose. I stopped and didn't know what to do. Stand there, walk? run? I didn't want to run until she was out of sight. It was just me and the moose at 6:20am.  She was across the road. She turned and started trotting toward the gate. She stopped there and then jumped over the gate and went off into the trees. Beautiful sight! I ran out 6 miles and back. I ran all the way to the main road. All by my lonesome. I listened to music in one ear on the way back. I'm kind of sad to be home. It's so beautiful up there. Nice and cool too.
